Home to Muslim Malays, Indians of various religions, and Buddhist and Taoist Chinese, and all seem to coexist alongside a diverse Eurasian and expat populations. Place we saw included, Penang Hill, a Hindu Temple and Mosque, Kek Lok Si Chinese Buddhist Temple, Thai Buddhist Temple (Wat Chaiya) has the fourth largest reclining Buddha in the world, 108 feet long and The Burmese Buddhist Temple, across the street.
