Arrived early in port took off for a 3 hour drive to Borobudur. It was very interesting to see this temple that was lost for so many year. Constructed in the 9th century and abandoned following the 14th-century decline of Hindu kingdoms in Java and the Javanese conversion to Islam. It was lost for 500 years.
