First time to this port, it is one of two we traded for Tokyo, as we had to divert due to a Super Typhoon. They had a free shuttle for us to the train station, from there we took a $5.00 loop bus, with stops at the Geisha District, Kanazawa Castle, Kenrokuen Garden and Omi-Cho Market.

World Traveler 
I really enjoy seeing your pictures and Jeff’s too cause each of you come at things differently sometimes. Tom and I like smaller cities so I think we’d have enjoyed this diversion from Tokyo. As you get closet to Hong Kong it will be interesting if you get to stop there. Lots of demonstrations going on because of the political situation with National China. It’s not likely in the port area, but it could be disruptive to any touring.
