We left Punta Arenas yesterday at 4:30 pm and the captain announced our new schedule now to Sydney on the 25th. We are new arrive in Easter Island in the 11th a day late, Papeete a day late on the 16th but an extended stay until 10 p.m. and we will skip Easo, New Caledonia to make our schedule portage in Sydney. In a letter the captained stated on Wednesday the 15th as a gesture of good will, we will enjoy complimentary wine or soft drinks with dinner.

Our scheduled scenic sailing of the Chilean Fjords happened during the middle of the night last night to get us out to sea and hopefully a little ahead of the storm. However, my readers can see how beautiful it is as I took these pictures last year:
