Day two Punta Arenas, as I mentioned we are waiting word from Seattle (HAL Headquarters) on what to do as a result of a very big storm in the Pacific. I will post more when I know more.
A few sad notes: A lady broke her ankle yesterday on tour (ouch), The Noro Virus is back onboard or maybe never left and the Antarctica Landing Tour $3399 did not make it to Antarctica, instead they flew to El Calafate and Perito Moreno Glacier for $2599. How disappointing that must be for them. But far worse I think is the bate and switch the cruise line pulls. This tour that rarely makes it to Antarctica is way over priced. And then to add to the insult they fill the unsold seats with lots of crew for pennies on the dollar. Many of us feel they should call this a Crew Tour to Antarctica that a few passengers pay for dearly for.
