Last night it rain most the night, lighting and thunder was the order of the night. Dark sky’s almost turned us back but we braved the morning and start our six mile planned hike. We did not plan for the heavy rain mid hike. The rain was so heavy that the trails became muddy. Caking to our shoes make our climb harder then it needed to be. But we prevailed and made the one mile high hike up to the Canyon Rim. Here are a few of the things we saw:
