Day 6 of the road trip and what a day it has been. We first drove to Walnut Canyon National Monument and walked both paths. The Island path was tough for me, but worth the effort. The trail warning said “Strenuous, especially for those not acclimated to 7,000′ elevation. The trail descends 185 vertical feet into the canyon, and returns the same way.” Here are just a few of the photos:
