The trip officially starts for me today with an over night trip aboard Amtrak’s Auto Train. The train portion of the trip will be about 15 hours. Dinner is normally very good and we are served a quick cold breakfast just before arriving. Below is the route map.

This makes my seventh trip going north bound on the Auto Train and it should be a nice trip. Below are the two views (Day & Night) on my accommodations.

After they unload the car I will head out to pick up Jeff, pack his stuff in the car and we are off. Below is a rough outline of our trip plan.
